Our
Services - Developmental Instruction
With
this service the developmental specialist
comes
to your family’s home, daycare, or school. Using
the
assessment findings as a guide, as well as your family’s
needs,
the developmental specialist determines goals for your child to work
on. She then creates individualized activities tailored to
help
your child develop the needed skills. During each hour session the
developmental specialist will review what your child has done since the
last session. She will model appropriate developmental activities to
your family while working with your child. She will answer any
questions your family may have about your child’s
development.
She will keep records on your child’s progress and give your
family a list of activities and ideas to work on with your child until
the next session. The developmental specialist can come as
often
as twice a week to as infrequently to once every four months.
